Rita Micozzi: The Hidden Years, part the third, online in the Drawings. And to clean our mouth from the ugly special of Witch, here are also some nice coloured versions of drawings from this beautiful collection, thanks to Stefano "Essekappa"

News stored on 19.12.2001 - Witch Special, it's a scandal

... because the Witch girls get NAKED! Yeah, you'd like it... :P
But unfortunately it's not like that: the scandal is only that in this special THERE ARE NO STORIES AT ALL. The Calendar 2002 had already raised a lot of upset with the fans, recycling the covers of the regular series instead of putting 12 new images as we expected; this special, instead of calming down the critics, makes only the situation more rough. A shameful waste of 65 pages of paper, filled only with useless astrological stuff instead of five nice stories with every Witch girl as protagonist (PK teaches). The only things somehow interesting in this special are - except the beautiful cover - the 24 magic cards, just for the awesome illustrations, and the map of the 12 portals. Indeed a new delusion for the fans of the comic-book, after the calendar's one.
It's really a shame that a beautiful comic-book like Witch after only one year of publishing is already getting this commercial. PLEASE GIVE US BACK BARBUCCI!!!

Three new drawings submitted by Power stored in Gallery #2 and in the Xadhoom gallery!

Daniele is sending us a unseen picture from Lucca, for all Rat-Man fans: Leo Ortolani and Stefano Turconi shaking their hands at the Marvel Italia's stand.

Moreover, in coincidence with the publishing of a three-shot comic series about Atlantis made by italian artists, we opened a new poll: what do you think about it? Say your own! In the next days more news about Atlantis will be waiting for you.

The previous poll about the character that should be the protagonist of a new series has ended with the draw victory of Lyla and Stefan Vladuck, both with 32% of votes, followed by Gorthan (11%), Neopard (8%), Trauma (8%) and even Gianfranco Cordara (8%), that succeeded in beating his own character Tyrrel Duckard, who losed ungloriously gaining 0 votes. The droid menaced to destroy the continuum for revenge, but Lyla calmed him down... we don't want to know how.

We received from Claudio Sciarrone about a series of tv apparitions of his in the next days:

"From last week and for next two from Monday to Friday I will be on Disney Channel from 6 to 8.30 PM; you can send me emails (I hope in a flood of them) to the email address live@disney.it"

Today starts a new series of specials devoted to our favourite pk-artist. Have a jump into the past with Rita Micozzi: The Hidden Years, an extraordinary collection of drawings and sketches from her third high school year diary, made up of 68 images in 6 galleries, only for PKERS. On every week till the half of January you will find a new gallery. Click here for the first issue!

Added moreover in the regular gallery #2 a parody of Mp5 in duck version coloured in Photoshop. More drawings by Power are coming.

News stored on 6.12.2001 - Rai, a day for Walt Disney

Yesterday, 5th of December, RaiUno (state italian television network) has remembered Walt Disney for his 100 years, devoting to him its entire day of transmissions putting into some shows some, as it were, homages. If they may be called like this: because, at last, we saw really a few about it. In Paolo Limiti's show also had to present a member of italian Disney team, but if he, or she, was there, we didn't find out. The D-Day went out in the trasmission of some outtakes from spare Disney movies, lacking any kind of analysis of Disney situation in Italy, and of course no mention about PK & Co. (nor it was expected, but miracles may happen sometimes). What a pity, a great delusion for all italian fans.

There are more news about the story of Duck Avenger: while adding the original credits we discovered that the penciler, Steven Butler, before Disney worked for Marvel Comics on Spider-Man. In the special about Duck Avenger you can find all the details and some plates.

PKERS brings to you another amazing scoop!
Thanks to the worldwide success of the translations (the news was posted via DCML and AfNews and we were emailed by pkers from all over the world: Germany, Norway, Denmark, France, Greece, USA, Japan, Australia!) we managed to get the last two parts of the american version of Paperinik, Duck Avenger. The first part of this story had already been found by PKERS quite a long time ago: now at last, after many months of deep search, thanks to an Australian pker we are now able to give you the second and the third part of this weird adventure. You'll find all the images in the Duck Avenger Special.
