Skins Risorse del computer

Anche Esplora Risorse si può personalizzare! Siete stanchi della classica nuvoletta azzurra nell'area Anteprima di Windows 98? E allora perché non sostituirla con qualcosa di più dinamico, magari a tema pikappico? Ecco qui un esempio di come risulteranno le vostre finestre dopo una rapida cura di bellezza.

Ad ogni immagine corrisponde un file zip scaricabile che contiene un file wvleft.bmp. La qualità di queste immagini naturalmente è ridotta rispetto a quella effettiva per ridurre i tempi di caricamento.
Per installare queste skin nel vostro Esplora risorse seguite questa procedura:

1. Assicuratevi che il vostro Explorer sia impostato per visualizzare l'anteprima dei files. Se non vedete nulla, cercate il pulsante "Visualizza" sulla barra degli strumenti e cliccate sulla freccia a destra del pulsante, selezionando poi "Come pagina Web".
2. Aprite la cartella C:\Windows\Web
3. Cercate il file wvleft.bmp
4. Trovato? Bene, quella sono le nuvolette di Windows 98. Rinominate il file in modo da conservarne una copia, ad esempio con "wvleft_original.bmp".
5. Aprite il file zip scaricato ed estraete il file contenuto wvleft.bmp nella stessa cartella.
6. Premete F5 (Aggiorna). Se tutto è andato bene dovreste vedere la nuova skin in tutte le finestre dell'Explorer. Per ripristinare il vecchio sfondo, naturalmente, basta cancellare il nuovo file e rinominare wvleft.bmp il vecchio.

Every image is linked to a zip file containing a wvleft.bmp file. The quality of the images below is obviously lowered respect to the real ones to make the page loaded faster.
To install these skins follow these steps:

1. Make sure your Explorer to be set for viewing file previews. If you don't see anything, look for the "View" button on your toolbar and click on the arrow on the right, thus checking "Like Web page"
2. Open folder C:\Windows\Web
3. Search for the file wvleft.bmp
4. Did you find it? Well, that's the clouds one. Rename it in order to keep a backup copy, like "wvleft_original.bmp".
5. Open the zip file you downloaded and extract the contained file wvleft.bmp in that folder.
6. Hit F5 (Refresh). If all's gone ok you should see the new skin in all the Explorer windows. To restore the old skin, of course, you just have to delete the file and rename back the old one to wvleft.bmp.
